Participant understands that Love Serve Inspire, LLC and Hanans Yoga, Inc. (“Facilitators”) are leading the Portugal Yoga Retreat from September 20-27, 2025 as outlined herein (“Retreat”). Participant acknowledges that there are inherent risks involved in traveling to Portugal as well as in practicing yoga. Traveling may include but is not limited to transportation by air, bus, train, jeep, taxi and boat, etc. Participation in yoga classes include, but are not limited to, meditation, yogic breathing, and performing various yoga postures. Yoga postures, or asanas, are designed to exercise every part of the body―stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. They also work on the internal organs, glands and nerves. As is the case with any form of travel as well as physical activity, the risk of loss and injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be eliminated. I understand that there are no medical conditions that prohibit my traveling or participating in the Retreat. I acknowledge that Facilitators are not responsible for weather delays, transportation issues, or any problems that may arise at the Retreat and that all monies paid are nonrefundable. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to travel and practice yoga. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter may have against Facilitators. I acknowledge that participation in the Retreat may expose me to a possible risk of personal injury or monetary loss. I am fully aware of this risk and hereby release Facilitators from all liability, negligence or other claims arising from or in any way connected with my participation in the Retreat. I further acknowledge that I shall not now or at any time in the future bring any legal action against Facilitators; and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, my spouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors and my assigns. I acknowledge that I am physically fit to participate in the Retreat and a licensed medical doctor has verified my physical condition for participation. If I am pregnant or become pregnant or am post-natal, I acknowledge that I am participating in the Retreat with my doctor’s full approval and at my own risk. Upon receipt of the completed booking form together with the proof of payment of the nonrefundable $200 deposit, Participant’s reservation will be held until the balance of the Retreat fee is due on June 1, 2025. If the reservation is made less than 30 days prior to the Retreat date, 100% payment is payable within two days of making the reservation to guarantee or confirm the reservation. Flights to Portugal are the responsibility of the Participant and should be made at your own cost. Travel insurance remains the responsibility of the Participant. Travel Insurance should cover cancellations, sickness, losses and all the usual risks. Please ensure that you advise the staff should you have any health conditions that require special attention as well as medication you are taking before your booking. Should you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the Retreat, you must consult a member of the Retreat team immediately. Changes to the schedule might occasionally occur. This would include a change in yoga instructors and any other arrangements. Even though changes are usually minor and Participants will be advised at the earliest possible date, we reserve the right to do so at any time. Facilitators reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel a Retreat, in which case we will offer a full refund of all monies paid. In particular, Retreats require a minimum number of at least 50% of the Participants to have booked by two weeks before the start date. If this minimum number is not reached by that date, we may cancel and refund the money to you. In no case will we cancel a Retreat less than 2 weeks before the scheduled departure date, except for reasons of force majeure, or failure on your part to pay the final balance. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU- (a) We accept the responsibility of ensuring that the Retreats are supplied as described on the itinerary and that services provided at the Retreat venues will be at a reasonable standard. (b) We do not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, other Acts of God (including but not limited to animal attacks), technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, unforeseen changes in your personal circumstances or other events beyond our control. (c) We are not liable for any injuries you may sustain during or on route to the Retreat. Retreat therapies are undertaken at your own risk. Should you experience any injury or discomfort during any activity during the Retreat, you must consult a member of the Retreat team immediately. As professional yoga teachers we will be mindful not to push Participants beyond their limits. The yoga classes we give are restorative and not very demanding. You also agree that we will not be held liable for any medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the Retreat. Finally, we are not liable for loss of or damage to your personal property. GROUP BOOKINGS- Where bookings are made on behalf of several individuals, the booking will be conditional on the person signing the booking form having authorization from all the individuals named on the booking form to enter into this contract. Such authorization need not be investigated or proved by Facilitators. A deposit from every group member is required. Should any of the group members not be able to come for the Retreat for any reason, the deposit will be forfeited. COMPLAINTS- If you experience a problem during your Retreat, please inform a Facilitator immediately and he/she will endeavor to put things right. We however cannot guarantee the proportion of male/female guests in any group, and we will not be responsible for individual behavior. DISCLAIMER- Facilitators will not accept any liability for theft or damage to personal belongings, personal injuries, death, illness, act of negligence or medical conditions that develop during or after the Retreat, or any costs, cancellations or changes incurred as a result of fire, natural disaster, airport closure or any other events beyond our control.
